A few posts ago I was mulling over the ads on websites like Talent Circle. Are they full of great opportunities or time-wasting idiots? Both? Bit more of one than the other?
Well, I finally have some evidence that there are some decent opportunities out there. I responded to an ad looking for a writer, the advertiser replied thanking me for my application, gave lots of useful info, asked further qualifying questions. I responded to that. Few days later she came back to me; I hadn’t got the job but I was close.
That’s good enough for me. A useful contact made, if nothing else. And a little more confidence in Talent Circle.
